We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team at ITX GENERAL TRADING COMPANY , a leading general trading company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting roles within a general trading environment. Proficiency in Tally software is essential for this position. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial data to support management decisions.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain and update financial records using Tally software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.
- Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed financial data and reports.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes are followed.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support management in decision-making processes by providing accurate financial insights and reports.
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and implement changes as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a general trading company.
- Proficiency in Tally software is a must; additional accounting software knowledge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
