Channel and Distribution Account Manager

Job Summary:
The Channel and Distribution Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships with channel partners, distributors, and retailers in the toy collectibles industry. This role ensures the effective execution of sales strategies, optimizes product distribution, and drives revenue growth by aligning channel activities with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail partners.
Onboard, train, and support channel partners to ensure alignment with the brand’s sales and marketing strategies.
Sales Growth and Revenue Management:
Achieve sales targets through effective channel partner engagement and territory management.
Monitor sales performance of partners and implement corrective measures when targets are not met.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and new channel opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns tailored for different regions and demographics.
Inventory and Distribution Oversight:
Manage inventory levels across the distribution network to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
Product Positioning:
Work with product development and marketing teams to position new collectibles effectively.
Educate channel partners on product features, benefits, and unique selling points (USPs).
Performance Reporting:
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and competitor activities.
Use data analytics tools to forecast sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Compliance and Brand Standards:
Ensure all channel activities align with the company’s branding guidelines and legal compliance requirements.
Address customer complaints or issues escalated from channel partners, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in channel sales, account management, or distribution within the toy, collectibles, or consumer goods industry. (UAE Experience is a definite plus)
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing partner relationships.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales and CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Business Central, Salesforce, HubSpot).
Knowledge of the toy and collectibles market, including trends and customer preferences.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
Work Environment:
Flexible, with a mix of office-based tasks and field visits to distributors and retailers.
May require travel to attend trade shows, partner meetings, and industry events.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Revenue growth and sales target achievement.
Increase in partner satisfaction scores.
Expansion of distribution network and new channel acquisition.
Improved inventory turnover ratio and reduced distribution delays.
