Previous cashier experience in a restaurant or similar setting preferred
Strong customer service skills.
Proficient in handling cash and electronic transactions.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.
Friendly and positive attitude.
Skills Required:
Numeracy Skills: Accurate handling of cash and card payments.
Customer Service: Providing exceptional service and handling customer inquiries.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
Multitasking: Managing multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Problem-Solving: Resolving any issues that arise with transactions or customers.
Teamwork: Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
Balance the cash register at the end of the shift
Assist customers with inquiries and purchases
Handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Providing excellent customer service.
Maintaining a clean and organized cashier area.
Assisting with other front-of-house tasks as needed.
