Position Title: Public Relations Officer (PRO) & DHA/DOH Specialist
Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Purpose
To manage all public relations (PRO) functions related to government and regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations. The role includes handling employee visas, licensing processes, and maintaining effective communication between the company and government entities.
Key Responsibilities1. Public Relations Officer (PRO) Duties
Visa Processing:
Coordinate and process applications for employee visas (new, renewal, and cancellation).
Handle Emirates ID applications, labor cards, and residency formalities.
Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and immigration regulations.
Document Management:
Maintain up-to-date records of employee visas, licenses, and permits.
Monitor expiration dates and ensure timely renewals.
Government Liaison:
Act as the primary point of contact with government departments (e.g., Ministry of Labor, Immigration Department, etc.).
Handle trade license renewals, amendments, and other official permits.
Company Representation:
Represent the company during inspections, hearings, or meetings with government bodies.

2. Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Specialist Duties
Healthcare Licensing:
Manage the licensing process for healthcare professionals through DHA, including new applications, renewals, and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with DHA guidelines and standards for healthcare professionals and facilities.
System Administration:
Register and update the company profile and employees on the DHA portal.
Submit documents, track application statuses, and address queries from DHA officials.
Audits & Inspections:
Assist in preparing for DHA audits and inspections to ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
Respond promptly to DHA queries or issues related to licensing or compliance.
3. Compliance & Reporting
Stay updated on changes in UAE labor and DHA regulations and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
Prepare regular reports on visa, licensing, and compliance statuses for management.
4. Customer Service & Support
Provide guidance to employees regarding visa or licensing requirements and processes.
Ensure smooth onboarding for new staff by managing visa and DHA licensing formalities.
Key Skills & Competencies
Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of UAE labor laws, immigration processes, and DHA regulations.
Familiarity with online portals such as GDRFA, MOHRE, and DHA systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government e-portals.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar PRO/DHA/DOH role within the UAE.
Fluency in English and Arabic (preferred).
Valid UAE driving license.

Timely completion of visa and licensing processes.
100% compliance with UAE labor and DHA regulations.
Minimal delays in employee onboarding due to PRO/DHA formalities.
Positive feedback from internal stakeholders and government authorities.
Note: The role may require travel between government offices and healthcare facilities. Flexibility in working hours is essential to meet deadlines and handle urgent matters.
