Junior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations, administrative tasks, and real estate management activities. This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in accounting, administration, and real estate management while benefiting from mentorship and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Perform reconciliations for bank accounts.
Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including payment processing.
Assist in preparing budgets, coordinating with auditors for budget approvals and audits.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Administrative and Real Estate Management Support:
Provide administrative support to the community management team.
Handle correspondence and communication with homeowners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Assist in managing contracts, leases, and other property-related documents.
Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and other services.
Support property inspections, reporting, and compliance tasks.
Learning and Development:
Actively participate in training and mentorship programs.
Stay updated on industry trends, accounting practices, and real estate regulations.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new tools, processes, and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
Experience:
0–6 months of work experience in accounting.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Exceptional English language skills - speaking, reading, and writing.
Proficiency in basic computer use and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional skills that would be beneficial to the role:
A valid UAE driver's license
Experience using Odoo Accounting
Programming/scripting interest and/or experience – JS/XML/Python
Bilingualism is an advantage
