Cleaning Supervisor – SOFT SERVICES

Job Summary:

The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing cleaning staff and ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed according to the highest standards. This role involves supervising and managing a team of cleaners, scheduling their shifts, maintaining cleaning supplies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Cleaning Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff, visitors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision:
Supervise and lead a team of cleaning staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.Walk-in interviews
Provide training and development to cleaning staff to improve performance and ensure understanding of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and equipment handling.
Assign and review cleaning duties, ensuring all areas are cleaned according to the scheduled plan.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and guidance.
KNOW AND UNDERSTAND THE SLA’S AND KPI’S IN EVERY PROJECT.
Cleaning Operations:
Oversee daily cleaning operations, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing surfaces.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly, maintained in good working order, and safely stored.
Inspect all areas for cleanliness, and ensure all cleaning standards are met.
Address any cleaning issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
Scheduling and Inventory Management:
Create and maintain cleaning schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage for all shifts and tasks.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders when necessary.
Ensure that cleaning products and equipment are stored securely and in compliance with safety regulations.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all cleaning activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safe work practices to protect team members from accidents or injuries.
Report and address any health or safety concerns promptly.
Ensure that cleaning staff wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Communication and Reporting:
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
Communicate effectively with management and other departments to address cleaning needs or concerns.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and any incidents.
Reporting To:

Daily Reporting to the “ Operations Coordinator” in any issues, requirements and advice needed to have a smooth operation.
Weekly Reporting to the “ Operations Manager” for any work-related matter, Project concerns and improvements.
Must have the ability to create a documented report and adhere to the quality standards procedures and company quality standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in facilities management or cleaning operations is a plus.
Proven experience in cleaning or facilities management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in relation to cleaning.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge about Microsoft and using computer for reports.
Working Conditions:

Full-time, with flexible hours required (including evenings and weekends if necessary).
Work will be performed in a variety of environments (offices, commercial spaces, industrial areas, etc.)
